Art Photography

This course was used to develop an appreciation for the art of photography through the study of basic digital photographic skills and concepts.

​At the end of the semester, we used the various techniques learned in class to create a series of images that inquires, contemplates, or challenges a particular aesthetic, political or social topic. Additionally, we wrote a paper that followed the presentation and went in depth about the meaning behind the photographs.

For this project, I chose to explore the culture/identity in America in two specific locations: New York City and Johnson City.
